On the morning of February 11th, Samuel Ogden “The Iron Shovel” Edison, Junior (left) awoke feeling particularly uninspired. This fateful lack of creativity would leave an indelible mark on history, as he was unable to furnish his newborn son with an equally incredible moniker; the boy was given the comparatively dull name of Thomas Alva.
